About SANRAT Grand Prix

SANRAT (Sayembara NFT Race Tournament) is a fully automated NFT racing ecosystem built natively on the Metrixcoin blockchain. Originally scoped for BSC during early development, the project returned to MRX to honour the long-standing Metrix community — the Metroids — and to inject meaningful activity into the MRX ecosystem.

Every race is determined by pure code logic. No gambling, no randomness manipulation, no house edge. NFT traits, track conditions, and endurance mechanics decide the outcome. The prize pool is 100% sponsored and distributed automatically to owners.

The game is live on mainnet: Season 1 is in progress, stages step automatically, and cars have already traded through the in-game marketplace. Development continues directly on mainnet by a solo developer with support from the Metrix team, and a cross-chain expansion to BSC is planned once the MRX launch is stable.

NFT Collection

10,000 unique automotive HUD (Heads-Up Display) units minted as MRC-721 tokens on the Metrix blockchain. Each NFT carries four fixed performance traits generated at mint time:

Propulsion

Straight-line speed. High Propulsion excels on straights but carries a penalty through corners.

Traction

Grip across surfaces. Determines how well the car handles dry vs wet track conditions.

Stability

Balance on elevation changes. Controls performance on uphill, downhill, and flat terrain.

Core

Power regulation and crew endurance. Higher Core reduces HP loss and improves recovery.

Each trait has 10 levels (1–10), producing 10,000 unique combinations. Traits are set at mint and cannot be changed — strategy lies in choosing the right car for the right track.

Pricing & Minting

NFTs start at $20 USD, payable in MRX equivalent at the current exchange rate. To smooth price fluctuation in MRX's thin order books, liquidity may be added to the exchange pool periodically. Users may purchase MRX from the open market or use existing holdings.

Minting will be available through Metriverse.

Rarity Tiers

Rarity tiers are not active yet — every car in the current fleet is Tier 1, so performance comes from the four traits alone. Assigning NFTs to the planned 9 rarity tiers from their total trait sum is part of the expansion.

Getting a Car

A car is an NFT — the token is the car. The Purchase NFT button on the race page opens the marketplace, where each listed car shows its four traits, the seller's price in USDT, and the equivalent MRXb amount. The listing price is set by the seller, so it varies from car to car.

Payment settles on BSC (USDT or MRXb) and the token is then delivered on-chain to the Metrix address of the wallet you are signed in with — so connect your wallet before buying. The live MRXb/USDT rate is re-quoted at checkout, which locks the amount you pay to the rate at that moment.

Season registration is currently free: sign in with your wallet and select a driver to enter the running season. You can also join mid-season — a car added while a race is under way starts that race from 0m.

Season rules are decided by the racers. The Next Season Vote panel on the race page chooses the next season's shape — 4, 5, 7 or 10 races at 24h, 20h, 12h or 8h stage intervals. The winning option is applied when the season rolls over, and the per-race prize minimum and maximum are re-balanced so the season's total prize budget is unchanged.

Game Mechanics

Race Structure

Season Leader Penalty

From Race 2 onward, the two cars on top of the season standings get a re-rolled Stage 1–3: the leader's Stages 1 and 3 and the runner-up's Stage 2 are rebuilt from that car's own trait profile, so a leader short on traction is handed a wet stage, one short on stability a hill, and so on. The penalty targets the leader's own weaknesses and changes no other car's conditions. This keeps competition balanced.

Race Points

Points are awarded per race based on finishing position, scaled by the size of the grid:

Pn = BASE_PTS × DECAY(n − 1) × grid multiplier
where BASE_PTS = 1000, DECAY = 0.95, and n = rank (1st, 2nd, 3rd…)

This produces a descending points curve: 1st earns 1,000 pts, 2nd earns 950, 3rd earns 902, and so on.

The grid multiplier tracks how deep the field is: ×0.5 while up to 60 cars are racing, ×1.0 up to 200, and ×1.5 beyond that. A thin grid therefore scores half points — the same win is worth more in a big field.

Season standings are the running total across the season's races, tracked per car and per owner's team. The two cars on top of the standings take the Season Leader Penalty in the next race.

Prizes

Prize distribution uses an exponential decay curve for smooth, fair payouts:

Payout(r) = P N × α · e−β(r−1)/N 1 − e−β
P = this race's prize N = paid places (80% of the field) r = rank (1 = highest) α, β = shape parameters

N is the number of paid places — the top 80% of the finishing cars, or the whole field when fewer than 10 cars start. β = 4.0 sets how top-heavy the curve is and α is scaled so the payouts add up to exactly P. Cars finishing below N still score points, but earn no MRX.

Each race's prize is drawn from the season pool, allocated race by race in running order: a race is funded up to its configured maximum but never below its minimum — currently 200 MRX minimum / 600 MRX maximum, set by the admin and re-balanced when a vote changes how many races the season runs. Boost sponsorship is spread across the season's remaining races, and anything left over stays in reserve for later races.

Prizes accumulate in each owner's prize fund and can be claimed at any time — claiming pays the MRX on-chain straight to your own wallet.

Sponsorship & Prize Pool

The primary source of the prize pool is crypto trading profit. Multiple trading strategies are being developed and tested to provide consistent funding across different market regimes. Anyone can sponsor directly via the Sponsor button on the main page.

Prize pool is split into Normal and Boost pools. Boosted prizes multiply the regular payout for specific races. All funds are transparent — pool balances are visible on the race dashboard.

Common Questions

Do I need a MetriMask wallet?

Yes. The Metrix blockchain uses MetriMask (a MetaMask fork). Install the extension and connect on the race page. Your NFTs are tied to your wallet address.

Is this gambling?

No. Race outcomes are determined entirely by NFT traits and track conditions — no random elements favour any participant. There is no house edge, no betting, and no staking with odds.

Can I participate with one NFT or do I need two?

One car is enough: it goes out as your Driver and scores distance and points. A second car as Crew scores as well and counts towards your team's points in the team standings. Any further cars rest and heal.

What happens if my Crew HP reaches zero?

It is wrecked and out of that race. Send it to the bench: a car you leave unselected rests and regenerates HP between stages (a higher Core heals it faster), and you can run it again once it has recovered.

How do I claim prizes?

Connect your wallet on the race page and open Registration, Sponsor & Claim. Claiming pays the prize out on-chain to your own address: the game's node wallet signs the contract's owner-signed payout, so you pay no gas, and the page waits for the transaction to be mined and confirms the amount. Keep MetriMask connected to watch the MRX land in your wallet.
